Weight Distributing
Hitch

Tow those Heavy loads safely!!
The concept of a
weight distributing hitch is similar to that of a wheelbarrow:
long handles provide leverage and transfer the load forward
onto the front tire. The weight distributing hitch works by
leverage, transferring 1/3 of the weight to the front wheels
of the tow vehicle, 1/3 of the weight to the trailer wheels,
and leaving 1/3 on the hitch ball/back wheels of the tow
vehicle.
- You can
choose a tongue weight rating to fit your needs: 550, 750
and 1,000 lb. ratings are available, and whether you need a
Weld-on or Bolt-on application.
- Fits
standard 2" receivers.
- Adjustable
10 3/4" drop ball mount (Call for larger drops).
- Independently tested and V5 rated.
- Adaptable for
use with Sway
Control.

Super Hitch 7,500
lbs

- Super Hitches use
5/16" thick side plates, gusseted 1/4" thick cross tubes,
1/4" washers, and much more.
- With the big
trucks, super hitches can tow up to 7,500 lbs. with a 750
lb. tongue weight with a ball mount, and when using a weight
distributing hitch, up to 15,000 lbs. with a 1,500 lb.
tongue weight.
- These ratings are
for properly equipped and rated vehicles
only.

The B & W Turnover Ball
Gooseneck Hitch

In 1991, we designed
and patented a truly innovative solution to the gooseneck
dilemma; how to get the ball out of the bed when not towing a
trailer. The solution was simple and ingenious. A 4" hole is
cut in the bed to accomodate the ball and the mounting system
is beneath the bed, bolted to the frame. A spring-loaded
handle is attached to a 5/8" steel locking pin that goes
through the ball. When you're using the hitch, the handle
allows you to retract the pin and stow the ball, upside-down,
in the same receiver. The design was quickly accepted as a
great improvement to the welded-in-ball and fold-down plates
used at the time. |

 Prodigy

Tekonsha introduces PRODIGY the most advanced and
intelligent approach to trailer brake controls. PRODIGY,
requiring no manual leveling, is a technological breakthrough
among inertia-activated brake controls. Equipped with a
self-adjusting sensing device similar to the one used in
guided-missile technology to allow for easy, flexible
installation - from nearly horizontal to nearly vertical -
PRODIGY constantly adjusts itself to the position of the tow
vehicle. |
